Hi all! It’s been a while since I posted here at Newborn photography | Long Island blog. Gosh, so many newborn sessions are done but life gets in the way to keep up with posting them regularly.

Adorable little Amelie came to see me at 3 weeks old. Mom and dad picked the most beautiful name for their little one, (I have two boys, but If I ever had a girl that would have been my first name choice!).

She was just as sweet as could be during her newborn session. Did you know that during my “white/ organic/ natural” newborn sessions the baby doesn’t have to sleep and we can still fill out your gallery with many beautiful images? During my newborn sessions, babies are often wrapped in a cozy, soft blanket, snuggled and kissed by parents, and we focus on capturing these moments between them. Some babies are dressed in a timeless and simple white onesie. Nothing crazy and over the top. We want all the focus on your baby and not the outfit :). Honestly, they are becoming quickly my client’s favorite sessions. There is no doubt in my mind these images are timeless. And if the baby doesn’t sleep (which happens quite often – the little ones are just too curious about what’s going on around them) – capturing their beautiful eyes is only an added bonus to the session!
